Privacy Policy for FieldRoute

Effective Date: October 14, 2026
Last Updated: October 14, 2026

FieldRoute ("FieldRoute", "we", "our", or "us") is a workforce management and field force tracking platform designed to help organizations manage their field teams, monitor work-related routes and activities, and maintain operational records.

This Privacy Policy explains how FieldRoute collects, uses, stores, processes, and protects information when employees, field representatives, managers, administrators, and other authorized users use the FieldRoute mobile application, web portals, and related services.

By using FieldRoute, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who Uses FieldRoute

FieldRoute is primarily a business and workforce management platform.

Organizations using FieldRoute may create accounts for their employees, representatives, managers, supervisors, administrators, or other authorized personnel.

In many cases, a user's organization or employer determines which users are added to FieldRoute, their organizational hierarchy, their permissions, and which business-related information is available to authorized managers.

FieldRoute is not intended for personal location tracking unrelated to legitimate organizational or field-work activities.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how FieldRoute is configured by an organization, we may process the following types of information.

Account and Profile Information

We may process information such as:

Some of this information may be created or supplied by the user's organization rather than directly by the user.

Location Information

Location tracking is a core feature of FieldRoute.

When a user starts an authorized tracking session, FieldRoute may collect precise geographic location information, including:

Location information is used to provide workforce route tracking, live or recent field-location visibility, route history, field activity verification, operational reporting, and related workforce management functionality.

Background Location

FieldRoute may collect location information while the application is running in the background or is not actively visible on the screen.

Background location is necessary for the core route-tracking functionality of FieldRoute because a field representative may need their authorized work route to continue being recorded while using another application or while the FieldRoute application is minimized.

Background location tracking is intended to operate only in connection with FieldRoute's field-tracking functionality and the permissions granted by the user and device operating system.

FieldRoute does not use background location data for advertising or targeted advertising.

Offline Location Data

FieldRoute is designed to support field representatives working in locations with unreliable or unavailable internet connectivity.

When an active tracking session is running and an internet connection is unavailable, GPS points may be temporarily stored locally on the user's device.

This information may include:

When internet connectivity becomes available, eligible unsynchronized location points may automatically be transmitted to the FieldRoute server.

This allows route records to remain accurate even when a user temporarily loses internet access.

Field Activity and Operational Information

Depending on the features enabled for an organization, FieldRoute may process business-related records such as:

Device and Technical Information

We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service, such as:

3. Why We Use Information

We use information processed through FieldRoute to:

We do not use precise location information for advertising.

4. When Location Tracking Occurs

FieldRoute requires location permission because location tracking is a fundamental function of the application.

The application may request foreground and background location permissions.

A user normally initiates a tracking session using FieldRoute's tracking functionality.

When tracking is active, FieldRoute may continue collecting eligible location points in the background until the tracking session is stopped, subject to device permissions and operating-system restrictions.

The application may display a persistent system notification or background-location indicator while tracking is active where required or supported by the operating system.

Users can control device-level location permissions through Android or iOS settings. Disabling required location permissions may prevent route-tracking features from functioning correctly.

5. Organizational Access to Location Information

FieldRoute is designed around organizational roles and reporting hierarchies.

A field user's location and route information may be accessible to authorized personnel within the organization using FieldRoute, such as:

Access should be limited according to the organization's configured permissions and reporting structure.

For example, an authorized manager may be permitted to view the route or location information of team members reporting under that manager.

Organizations using FieldRoute are responsible for ensuring that their use of employee location information complies with applicable employment, privacy, labor, and data-protection laws.

6. How We Share Information

FieldRoute does not sell users' personal information or precise location information.

Information may be disclosed only where reasonably necessary for operating FieldRoute, including to:

The User's Organization

Data may be made available to the organization that created or manages the user's FieldRoute account and to authorized users within that organization according to assigned roles and permissions.

Technology and Infrastructure Providers

We may rely on hosting, database, networking, mapping, operating-system, or other infrastructure providers to deliver FieldRoute functionality.

For example, mapping functionality may rely on third-party map technologies.

Such providers may process limited information where technically necessary to provide their services.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

We do not share location information with advertising networks for targeted advertising.

7. Data Storage and Security

FieldRoute uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

Depending on the type of information, safeguards may include:

FieldRoute currently uses server-side database infrastructure for application records. Certain temporary offline GPS information may also be stored locally on the user's device until synchronization can occur.

No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information appropriate to the nature of the service.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

The retention period for organization-managed workforce data may depend on the relevant organization's account configuration, contractual requirements, and applicable laws.

Temporary offline location points stored on the device are used for synchronization purposes. Once eligible points have been successfully synchronized, they may be marked as synchronized or removed during application cleanup processes.

When an organization's relationship with FieldRoute ends, information may be deleted, anonymized, or retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary for legal, security, contractual, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.

9. Account and Data Deletion Requests

Users who wish to request correction or deletion of information associated with their FieldRoute account should normally contact their organization's FieldRoute administrator.

Users may also contact FieldRoute using the contact information provided below.

Where permitted by applicable law and subject to legitimate organizational, contractual, security, and legal retention requirements, we will work with the relevant organization to process valid deletion requests.

Certain records may need to be retained where required by law, contract, dispute-resolution requirements, fraud prevention, security requirements, or legitimate business recordkeeping obligations.

10. Location Permission and Withdrawal of Consent

Users can manage or revoke FieldRoute's location permissions through their mobile device settings.

On Android, users can manage FieldRoute location permissions through the application's permission settings.

On iOS, users can manage FieldRoute's location access through iOS Privacy & Security settings.

Revoking location permission prevents or limits FieldRoute from collecting further device location information.

Because location tracking is a core feature of FieldRoute, disabling location permissions may prevent tracking, route recording, live location, and related features from working.

Users should also stop any active FieldRoute tracking session when they have completed their authorized field activity.

11. Children's Privacy

FieldRoute is a business workforce application and is not designed or intended for children.

We do not knowingly provide FieldRoute accounts directly to children for consumer use.

Organizations using FieldRoute are responsible for ensuring that individuals to whom they issue accounts are legally permitted to use the service in their jurisdiction.

12. Advertising

FieldRoute does not collect precise location information for advertising purposes.

FieldRoute does not sell precise location information to advertisers.

If FieldRoute's practices materially change in the future, this Privacy Policy and relevant app-store disclosures will be updated before such new uses are introduced where required.

13. International Data Processing

Depending on the location of the customer organization and the infrastructure used to provide FieldRoute, information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions different from the user's location.

Where required, we take reasonable measures to protect information in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

Organizations using FieldRoute are responsible for determining whether additional contractual or jurisdiction-specific safeguards are required for their workforce.

14. Third-Party Services

FieldRoute may use third-party technologies necessary for application functionality, such as:

These third parties may process information according to their own privacy terms where their services are directly involved.

We expect service providers that process FieldRoute information on our behalf to apply appropriate safeguards to that information.

15. User Responsibilities

Users must not:

Organizations deploying FieldRoute should clearly inform their personnel about workplace tracking practices and obtain any notices, acknowledgements, or consent required under applicable law.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as FieldRoute develops, legal requirements change, or our data practices are updated.

When material changes are made, we may update the "Last Updated" date above and provide additional notice where required.

Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
